Green Monké Expands Its Award-Winning THC-Infused Beverages to Georgia

Green Monké USA, an award-winning hemp-D9 beverage brand, has announced a distribution agreement with Southern Horizon Logistics and Southern Crown Partners, bringing its THC-infused Happy Sodas to Georgia. This strategic move introduces Orange Passionfruit and Mango Guava Happy Sodas, each containing 5 mg of THC and 5mg of CBD, to over 200 retailers across the state, including convenience stores, bars, restaurants, and venues.

The partnership leverages Southern Horizon Logistics' extensive experience and network in the beverage distribution industry, spanning over 100 years and covering 61 counties across South Carolina and Georgia. This collaboration not only signifies Green Monké's first major foray into the Georgia market via alcohol distributors but also builds on its previous success as the official hemp-beverage at Enmarket Arena in Savannah, where its Happy Sodas became the top-selling alcohol alternative.

Pat Gleeson, CEO of Green Monké, expressed enthusiasm about the partnership, highlighting the local expertise of Southern Horizon Logistics as a key factor in the brand's expansion. The launch coincides with Georgia's upcoming hemp industry regulations, set to take effect on December 1, 2024, which aim to establish a sustainable framework for hemp-derived products by setting limits on delta-9 THC content and ensuring responsible marketing practices.
